Collection of 60 ancient books of textile samples, the vast majority of the house J.CLAUDE FRERES CO. – PARIS. The collection includes books from the mid-19th century until the mid-20th century. In total, over 7200 pages with over 41,000 textile samples. 

The sample designs that appear on the books cover all styles, for making various garments for both home and for fashion: Curtains, tablecloths, sheets, towels, shirts, dresses, ties, scarves, etc.. 

The styles that appear are plaids, stripes, prints, jacquards, paysleys, geometric, etc. 

Samples were compose of wool fabrics, cotton shirting fabrics, printed fabrics, silks, etc. In short, a collection of books that can serve as inspiration for designers and creatives.
